Let's Try This Again...
Well, seeing as my best friend and (probably) sole reader enlightened me in the fact that I haven't posted here in over a year, I decided it was probably time for an update. So what has happened since the last time I posted?
-finished my second year of college (that went by quick!)
-Went to Italy
-Started my third and final year of school
-I've made some awesome new friends
-My brother started school at VMI
-I've gotten super busy with work
-I spent the summer wakeboarding
-I turned 20
I know a lot more happened, but let's just start with this, shall we?
Last semester I was roommates With SP now SL. we had an amazing time together and I miss her dearly. I worked. We ate mobo fries at Lehis and made midnight cheesecake runs. We laughed together and I helped her plan her wedding. I did well in school, although I can't quite remember what classes I took. It all happened in such a blur.
ITALY WAS AMAZING. The food, the culture, the everything. I would go back now. I would go without my crazy professor that gave us curfews, but I would still go back. The best part of this trip was that Mom came with me. We made some great new friends who caused some mayhem with us. Florence, Venice, Rome and Asissi/ Spello. I would live off of that one canoli in Asissi for the rest of my life and I could go for some gelato any time.
The summer was the longest summer but, after Italy, the most uneventful. I spent a lot of time on the lake, which was fun, but that was just about it.
I just started my last year of school. I am really excited to graduate early but the nerves have finally hit me. What am I going to do? Oh well, I'll figure that out soon enough. So far I have had two mudfights, watched a meteor shower and many, many adventures. Its been great. I love it.
Another new thing this semester, I get to have the lovely company of my brother every Sunday. I really enjoy the little amount of time we have together. We watch movies and make dinner and get minimal amounts of homework done. I'm glad to have a place he can come and take naps at and destress and get ready for the next crazy week. I love that kid, he has grown up so much over the past couple of months.
Other than classes and friends and homework that has been taking up a big chunk of my time is work. I love work, I really do. The people I work with are great and I really enjoy the things we do. So, I guess, it doesn't really matter that it takes up so much of my time!
I know that this is a weak attempt to catch up, but its a start! Hopefully this will jumpstart a new habit.
Have a great week, everyone! :]
