Where Would I Be Without My Mom?

It is that time of year when everyone's hearts turn to trying to find words that perfectly describe how important their mom is to them. Lately, I have been trying to do just that, and it isn't easy. There are so many things that I want to say but once I put my pen to paper, it just doesn't work very well. It sounds weak and doesn't quite reach the sincerity I want it to. That being said, I here is the tip of the iceberg of my tribute to my absolutely amazing mom.
Where would I be without my mom? I would be bored, hungry, late to practically everything, I would probably be smelly and dirty and my clothes would be wrinkled and a bit disheveled. My tears would never have been dried, my scraped knees would have had to endure the elements. I would be lonely. I wouldn't know how to cook or scrapbook or do anything remotely crafty. I wouldn't have anyone to call when I have exciting news or when I made a mistake. Who would give me advice about boys, school and what (or what NOT) to wear? Who would curl up in bed with me and watch movies?

Who would I be if it wasn't for my mom?

My mom is one of the best examples of love, compassion and hard work that I have ever known. As she juggled going to school, making sure her kids were going to school and had the things they needed, doing her homework, cleaning the house, running errands and everything else she crammed into her crazy routine, I often found myself in awe. She is truly a super woman! She never gave up. And now look at her, working in the big girl world! I have never been so proud.

So Mom, thank you for being all that you are. I hope you know by now how amazing I think you are. I love you all around the world, to the moon and back, a million Swedish fish, ardently (or whatever the heck he says), and from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for being my number 1 fan. Thank you for cheering me up on my bad days and for laughing with (and at) me on my good days. Thank you for loving me even when I get stupid speeding tickets. Thank you for being my best friend. I would be lost (and not to mention, nonexistent) without you in my life.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there! You truly are amazing people!

P.S. Have a GREAT week!
P.P.S. You Dads are pretty great too... Don't forget it!
