This weekend had been pretty darn awesome. It started off on Friday when Some friends and I went on an epic adventure outside of BV. We took Bruce, who has lived in BV for 8 years, to Foamhenge for his first time. We pretended we were headless horsemen and wizards. It was pretty great. Then, we went into Lexington to check out some art galleries and wander the streets! We stopped by the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. I discovered that I am cemetery- squeamish. This means that, no, I do not appreciate mausoleums or crypts or any other above ground grave. They creep me out. But after that we went and got ice cream in yummy homemade waffle cones. On our way back, we stopped by Salerno's, ate some pizza and then drove back to campus. That night we had SVU Idol, which was fun! We stayed up late, watched Bones, you know, the usual!
On Saturday Meg and I slept in... until 11:30 or so. hahaha! Hannah had an art trip to DC that lasted all day. Meg and Cam and I went to Food Lion and bought some food. I got the ingredients for my new project. :]

After church, we had a Siesta Fiesta which included chips, salsa and quesadillas! We even used our illegal skillet! It was yummmmmmy!

As for my "Project", I've been wanting to do something cute for my friends for Valentines Day. Here is my trial run

What you need:
A container of Oreos
8ounces of Cream Cheese
Melting Chocolate (I found a really good, really cheap Food Lion brand one)

Step One:
Smash all but 7 Oreos (specific, I know!). This is usually a LOT easier witha food processor but since we are lowly college students, I smashed oreos by hand in ziplock bags for almost an entire hour.

Step two:
Mix in cream cheese.

Step three:
Form into Hershey Kiss shape!

Step Four:
Stick in the fridge for an hour or so.

Step Five:
Melt chocolate, dip and let dry

Step Six:
Wrap in foil, add tags

(We made the giant one for our RA.)

Step Seven:
Enjoy!!

It was a lot of fun and made about thirty little kisses!

Today, we had a really good lesson in Relief Society on Charity. I really enjoyed it. I am really looking forward to Hymns on a Hill tonight!

I hope you guys all have an amazing week to come! :]

P.S. I found this in Sunday school today... 1 Corinthians 15:26- The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Hmmm... Harry Potter much? Just saying!!

:]
