I would just like to start off and say that I love, like, truly LOVE nice people. They make my day ten million times more enjoyable. Here is why I say this:
A while back, I got a speeding ticket (I know, I know, way to go me.) luckily I got out of the ticket but now have to go to traffic school. I had to pay for this traffic school but they didn't want just money, they wanted a special form of check. Thank you for making my life difficult. So I went to the bank. The lady at the counter was very kind and helped me through my confusion in order to get what I needed. Not only that but she didn't charge me for the special check! "Everyone deserves a break every now and then" she said. "Yeah, I just can't seem to catch one lately" I responded. She smiled and said "Well, maybe this will be the start". And it was!!! I went to turn in this special check but the lady was gone. Luckily, the lady who shares the building with her was on her way out. She called 4 phone numbers in order to try and help me out. It all got worked out and I hopped in my car and greeted the surprisingly non-icy roads that led me all the way back home in Raleigh.
So, my wonderfully, amazing mom who taught me everything I know graduated this weekend from her surgical technology program. After two years of devoted hard work, she is finally done!!! I can't even tell you how proud I am of her. I look up to her so much! Not only can she balance a busy family of four but she managed to graduate with the highest honors possible for her program. I guess you could say that my mom is pretty much the best.
It was really nice being home this weekend! I got to see my grandma and spend some relaxed time with the family. But now I am back at school and have tests and projects and activities to do. Yay for college! :]
17 days until the Plain White T's concert... just saying.
I'm glad a nice lady gave you a break! You're one of the nicest people I'VE ever known, so I'm glad your niceness is coming back to you : )
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your upcoming tests and everything!
