Orientated

Orientation started today (Thursday). SVU is not a big campus at all and after already being here for three weeks, I'm pretty well versed in the ins and outs of the university. I know where all the buildings are, how long it will take for me to get there and what food to avoid in the Caf. So, in other words, I am already orientated... oriented... orientationed... I don't know.
It is so weird to think that I have already been here for three whole weeks. This upcoming Sunday will be my fourth Sunday in BV. I've almost been gone for a MONTH! What??? Where has the time gone? Oh wait, I remember. For the first two weeks I spent all of that time either a) sleeping, b) on the field playing soccer or c) eating. This week has been a lot more laid back. We only had two practices a day and one was indoor... Not too shabby.
I graduated from the Gimp Squad! Yay! We had our first game which didn't end all too well... D1 schools are TOUGH!
To my surprise, one morning after my post-morning practice nap, I discovered that the bunk bed had been taken out of the room. So what does that mean? MORE ROOM FOR THE GIRLS OF 119!!!! My third room mate moved in. I love her to death! We get along so well it's crazy!
I'm really looking forward to classes starting on Monday. My professors are pretty great and I can't wait to meet a whole bunch of new people!
We have a stoplight dance tomorrow night. In case you are like me and didn't know what a Stoplight Dance is, I will fill you in. I personally believe that it is SVU's way of getting people married as soon as possible. If you are taken, you wear red. If it is complicated, you wear yellow and if you are riding solo, you show up to the dance sporting green. Where is the traffic police when you need them?
So, in other words, SVU is good, I'm doing well, and, most importantly, I'm coming home for Labor Day!!! Life is good....
